Default Install help

Hi, what is the best distance between the T & K Brackets
I have a 1 Mtre dish, motor and 8 ft 2 inch dia pole.

Also what satellite are you using to setup on now?
is it still 1.0W Thor?

You set up on the satellite nearest to your due south position, this is discovered by your longitude reading. Go to dishpointer.com, type in your postcode and it will give you your latitude, & longitude, reading, negative longitude = West, positive = East.

How far above the roof will your pole be? The more exposed to wind the more secure you want it.

How about posting some pictures of where you intend to site your dish.

You need at least a 1 meter gap minimum between the 'T'&'K' to ensure good solid mount for vibration, if your going for 1m dish and its going over a guttering then a scaffold pole and an extra 'K' bracket just to be on the safe side.

If your in the UK then the nearest is still 0.8w Thor so yes you are correct.

Im changing the brackets, as the ones installed already were from my fixed dish
setup with 80 cm dish. I installed the new 1 mte dish and motor and new pole a few months back, but the brackets had a twist in them are to close together.
I did not check that the pole was set true, and thats why when I move to another satellite I dont get signal, the whole thing is not strait.
I guess i rushed it and now im re-doing it again hopfully correctly.

And the other Sunday it was windy, and one of the bolts on the K pulled out the wall
and had to do a fix with bigger plug and bolt.
I relise now the wind will cause vibration so I need to do it right this time.
What is the best fixings for the brackets into brick.?
I also noticed that the K bracket has a centre hole, but I think its not used, but I would like to use that as well for extra strenth, so i can use 4 bolts.
