From a news websites comments, then checked answer and it worked.
Did have a quick look into solving it but very much doubt I could have done it anyway without some(lots) clues/hints! lol

It's Unix supposedly - given by the dead beef thing. GCHQ use this sort of thing for recruitment for security professionals - particularly network and mobile security

Im guessing that's a starting salary and aimed at students - possibly those on placement. If you can get that money whilst on placement it's pretty good

Well yeah but ideally they'd want you to prove that you have some knowledge of "hacking" either by showing a website with your portfolio or with a degree like

Computer Science
Software Development
Computer Networks & Security
Digital Forensics
Cyber Security
Forensic Computing

etc... Once you get on to the hardcore stuff, then you're looking at getting paid 80K/year. Not bad (average 37K afaik)
