Hi there can anyone advise me on my problem. I have haxorware 1.0rc4 installed. On the overview paper it has established ip connectivity but it says retrieve time of day (in progress) and doesn't change. Would it be down to my mac address might be a dud one or is the something else I have missed. I used the haxorware tutorial to alter all the settings to suit so I think there must be something else. I used to have loads of working macs but now it seems they are all dud ones now. I would be grateful of any help.

I entered those commands that was list and for some reason it has stopped me accessing the modem using http//:192.168.100.1 so I don't know what to do now. Would you recommend using a different more up to date firmware.

to be honest i stopped using haxoware over 12 months ago i use sigma2 on surfboards i find personally it is easier to get online and keep online
as for your problem id power the modem down ,, unscrew the cable feed ,, power it back up ,, access the modem and change the mac and serial number ,, spoof your nic power down modem,, re attatch the cable feed ,, power up the modem and see how you go

It's all about the mac's mate, I use various stock and hacked fw's on my sb6120, sb5101, sb5100, ambit 250, 255, 256 and they all get kicked at the same rate.
On another note, if anybody is playing with docsis 1.1 pm me. |

Is there different versions of that sigma2 because I have installed it on my surfboard and tut says enter http://192.168.100.1:1337 to access the settings. Again it is not letting me in again. I think I'm finding things out the hard. Can you shed some light on this for me please.

The version I've got is sigmax2 I don't know if that is a different to yours. I have tried the usual http address that you mentioned and that didn't work either. I have been using a modem with infinite on it for the last three yrs without any problems now I can't get on line with that particular modem and my friend is in the same situation with his modem too. Is infinite no good now or is there something I could do to that firmware. ?

also as gypo says it is all about the macs ,,, the macs that i find work start with 00:04 ,, 00:08 ,, 00:20 ,, 00:40
another thing is that they are turning people off at boxes in the streets if you are not paying a sub then this may end up an issue but these things should not stop you accessing the modem through the ip address also when your flashing the modem and setting it up dont have the cable feed screwed in until you are happy with the settings |
