I have burnt them after downloading the files from various sites. I have not done it for a while, and hear things have changed, and i need a new burner and programme, is this correct, can anyone put me right?

you are correct u now need a Lite-on ihas 124b,224b,324b,524b,624b
also need to update firmware to custom firmware on the burner (very easy)
then your good to go..

hi there would love to no how to copy a xbox game and wii games as
just to make back ups is this possible

Of course it's possible....

Read what themong said about XBOX 360 backups, Wii backups need to be booktyped to DVD-ROM so your burner must support that (most modern burners do).
