Smile Kryptview / Starview - Done a bit of reading...

Hello,

I have done some reading for a couple of hours (at 5am) and am hoping someone could help me get up and running

i dont have a box yet and im not which one is better, sv or kv

do i need a box and a usb with the right files in or do i need some other hardware? i have just had Virgin internet installed today...

From what i read this process seems to be a bit quicker and easier than modding the old boxes (i did a couple years ago!)

Can someone please direct me to the correct place where i can read some manuals and general info...

I need to buy a box first so i can play about with it and test it...

Thanks

wouldnt worry about manuals, best making ur own decision really, then u cant blame anyone, just keep reading and weighing up ur options and u make the choice.

"Free £25 6 Month VIP Subscription with SV 7"

What happens after the 6month mark? How to do you purchase an extra 6?

Thanks,

What channels does the VIP package offer? Does it offer the "full goods" if you catch my drift? Also, is there any tampering than needs doing with the box or is it a plug n play from the moment it is delivered?

full goods yes.
you have to put the firmware on a usb stick and update box its well easy(unless box is already on correct firmware)
once you have correct firmware you will get full goods for 6 months, then its real easy to renew.just pay by paypal and full goods work again.
hahaha full goods...sounds a bit odd

If you get a box with the initial 6 Months, you would have to load the patched firmware, scan for channels and enter 1819 on the remote to activate the patch. If you get a box without the initial 6 Months access, then you would need to pay the £25/£45 to activate.
