You do not have an internet connection to the box, that's why it's not connected to the system. The box gets an IP address from your Router, it should start 192.168 (but not be 192.168.0.0).

Your problem is either your Router, Ethernet cable, LAN adapter, box or settings. You will need to check as much of those as you can.

correct , one lad near me had same problem .................turned out his kid had been messing with control and manged to bootload it ...............problem fixed by going back into it and bootloading again .

That's not the answer mate (with respect)

When this happens you go to a premium channel and type 1819.
It then shows connected (scrambled) and quite quickly clears.

Problem solved.
