eurovox max

im sure the answer to this is somewhere on the internet but i've spent the last few weeks looking with no luck.

i have a eurovox max that came with software and has been successfully tested in a friends, my problem is it wont work in my house.
i have basic cable provided by ntl(ireland) and i also have ntl digital/broadband downstairs, i have tried the eurovox from original cable source in the attic therefore bypassing all other equipment but still no luck.

when i test the box it comes on fine and will scan but the screen will just constantly says "no signal" on all the channels. i have been tryibg to sort this for months and i would say this is my last chance (im on my third box as i sent back a few), if theres no solution i will jus give up but i dont want to.

if more info required, let me know as any help gratefully recieved.

you say its been tested in a mates house , so its working ok then ? ,if not what firmware do you have on it for redbox in ireland it must be 15/03/07 the firmware before that date had a problem scanning in ireland ,pm me with your email addy and I'll email you a cdf for dublin

yeah works perfect in mates house, pretty sure the firmware is up to date, its a eurovox max 2007 in red box.
