can the iphone 4s be jailbroken
i have updated mine to 5.01

and also i've seen links for games etc, if my handset isn't jailbroken can i transfer these games via itunes etc???

also if my iphone 4s have a tracker enabled on it, for example if i lost my phone or it was stolen, can it be found? (I'm considering whether its worth getting insurance on it)

No you need factory unlockcode....

And tracker, Will only lock handset and/or stop your info getting in2 wrong hands, ei mms sms phonebook, So keep the insurance, or get home cover and stop it....

jailbreak will be out soon , and iphone 4s baseband has been dumped so an unlock is not far off either

What's the baseband version?

There is a "tethered" jailbreak available for certain basebands, I just did my iPhone 3GS last night which is running iOS 5.0.1.

is there a way i can find it out if its unlocked? i dont have another micro-sim?

Well if youre not in a hurry then dev team have dumped the 4s baseband which means there should be an unlock soon. ,
