Yeah I though it strange its only 1080i, but then again there are no 1080p broadcasts.

Until its in our hands I cannot tell you much more about it

Blackhole have been releasing images for them for a while despite there only being a few prototypes around. I believe that VIX will also be releasing an image on release, so all the usual features will be available
