how to make games run on 2nd monitor

hi all

i have a nvidia gtx280 graphics card with two monitor output sockets,i have my normal monitoron one socket and the other i have my hd tv .
i have them set up and working ok ,i can drag things from one screen to other etc.

i have my normal monitor set as primary display
i would like to be able to make games run on the hd tv and on the normal monitor still be able to use my pc for internet etc.
i have tried opening games in windowed mode and dragging them across to big screen but then when i enlarge it to full size the mouse gets locked into the game (even tho i use a joypad) so with no mouse curser im still unable to use rest of computer for other stuff.
ive tried a program called displayfusion,which is pretty good as it puts a taskbar and start menu on both displays so i set hdtv as main display and still had a taskbar on my pc monitor which i could still access internet,music,emails etc from ,but this didnt work either as my mouse curser was still locked in the game.
ive been scratching my head for days over this now,surely there must be a way to do it..but im stumped ,ive searched lots on google but not found a solution that works.
i hope someone can shed some light as im stumped and its took me ages to type this
