Default R4i Card Help please

Good Morning all,

I have been having issues with trying to update the R4i card with the 1.50b Kernel due to the fact we had updated the DS software to the latest version and with this version we are unable to install the latest Kernel.

So I used another DS and installed all the cards with the latest 1.50b Kernel. This worked a treat - but now if I put these cards in the other DS consoles that have the latest DS software they are still showing the error:

An error has occurred, please press and hold the power button... etc...

I was under the impression that the software would not resctrict this so long as I installed the kernel using an earlier version of the DS software.

Is this not the case? any ideas?

Thanks

Hi did you manage to get this sorted ? i'm having the same problem

Hi i bought a r4i v1.4.1 all worked fine, now my dsi has been updated to firmaware 1.4.3(e?) by mistake. From the guides online i was advised to put my card into a non upgraded dsi and click update and this should ressolve the issue, so i downloaded v1.52b, placed it on my card after reformatting it and powered it up went to upgrade and it says current verson alreday on the system. Place it back in the upgraded dsi and still get "an error has occurred press and hold power button......"

Can you help with this what am i doing wrong ?

Thanks
