After recently purchasing a Humax, as it had an satalite out port as well as in, I discovered what I actually needed was an RF out port - so that I can send TV signals to other locations wired up in the house. Does anyone know if I can convert the Humax Sat outport to an RF signal or know of anyother Satalite receivers that have an RF outport other than Sky?

Hi,
No, you cant convert the sat out to RF out. But, you can buy a modulator than connects to the scart, and converts that to RF. Here's one http://www.southernsat.co.uk/cart/in..._detail&p=1048 That will also let you control the box from other connected TVs using magic eyes. Lots of FTA sat boxes have RF out, too many to list, not sure about the other Fressat HD boxes though.

Wouldnt a Wireless Video sender attached to your Humax scart output with wireless recievers in each room be a better option, it would give you a composite video signal on each TV which is quite a bit better than RF modulated, then you could maybe use your coax feeds to each you room for freeview reception..
