Fancy a cheap tablet pc.
Have a look at -www.akashtablet.com

Tablet pc designed by british company Datawind.
Made by Aakash of india.366mhz arm .Wifi enabled,2gb storage.
sd card slot. two usb ports.Resistive screen.Handles HD and online streaming.
Yours for.rs2.500.or 35$ OR £24.15. £20 for students.
A new one coming out in janurary. Ubislate.700 mhz.android 2.3 Wifi.GPRS.
A bit dearer though RS 2.999. Thats probably about 30 Quid.

Makes you wonder how much a £500 ipad costs to make dos'nt it.

I remember japan doing something like this years ago with our motorbike and car industry.
looks good, the kids will still want an ipad though because it costs more, like they always want the most expensive trainers etc.

I'm defo interested, I believe the newer version is out in January 2012?

Gone up now pgale.due to exchange rate.
36 quid now.I have read somewhere that they will sell them anywhere.Looked at prebooking but no box for country.It may be worth filling the form in to see what happens.
