For anyone who uses ebay .when looking for stuff ive noticed that sometimes their listed in the wrong place, and nobody sees them, for instance i just bought a pace box with remote for peanuts ,because it was listed under remotes.I have seen this with other thing too. Also items are sometimes wrongly spelt,so when you do a search they dont show up.Hope this may be usefull .

If ebay notice these, they will delete the listing - I've had it happen to me a couple of times with only a few hours to go.

Another FleaBay tip is use hammersnipe. The free version bids when there is only 10 seconds left. Good enough for most of us.

There are specialist EBAY software tools that will search for these type of errors. I have played around with one of them in the past but I can't remember it's name. If anybody is interested I can look through my collection of such tools for it.
Like I said I have used it in the past but I never managed to find anything I was interested in - If I remember correctly most of the results seemed to relate to us auctions, but that could have been because it was not configured correctly. |

Is it just me being paranoid but don't people worry about the audit trail created by fleabay when you buy an item. Cool for most stuff but dodgy when buying stuff like boxes. Just look at someones feedback and you can instantly see what they have won over the last few months. I'm sure it would look sus if during that time you had a collection of boxes, cards, jtags and the like.
Just my thoughts, I know you could set up a spoof account but... |

You're right Bubba. It's one of those things. Fine to buy and sell, but get caught with them all sitting on your kitchen table and you'd prob be shipped off to Guantanamo bay!!
