Hey, ive had a flashed ambit now for about 10 months its flashed with haxorware and 20mb mac, ive moved it to various locations arpund my home and had no problems but moved home yesterday and come to set up modem last night and all im. Getting is a ethenet light and a flashing receive light no others, there is signal on the line as my tv box is working with fta channels. I havent got any packages with virgin tho is this the problem or is it in need of a new mac/flash ?? Thanks in advance

You should have a sub as you can not get it free for life !!! play with setting and more macs.....

I lno that mate but i wanted to know before i have internet with sky as i got tv with em. But whats the point in payong if mine was working, the chap i had modem off wants 30 quid for reflash and new mac

It can still be done but good MAC addresses are scarce these days..... good luck finding one.

The point in paying the person supplying the service is that the money is getting to the right place and not to the scum that wants £30 for flashing your illegally used modem.
