Merry Christmas people.

I have a SV 7 at home and i am missing a few channels, Racing UK for example, i have learned to live with that, but i just bought my mam and dad one for crimbo they live 400 meters away from me, i have scanned everything etc,etc, Now this is where i am confused, she is recieving Racing UK but is missing Sky Sports 1 and a few others, which i can get lol. Can i ask whats the newest firmware for the boxes or will they just re-appear when they feel like it?

I think you will find ssp1 is down at the moment

If the scan is not finding the channels, then it's most likely a signal problem, you really want a signal Q (quality) of over 60%. You can try a scan with all splitters removed, you don't need internet for a scan.

As both boxes are likely on the same network, you should be able to get the frequency off one box that is missing on the other and try a manual scan for that frequency, that will give you an idea of signal strength and quality.

Hi, thanks for advice mate. I got it all sorted in the end. But today, my box is showing not connected, im certain i have internet going to it as the time and date is correct after switching off and i am showing IP address etc, but my box date has gone which was 06/12. Any ideas mate? Thanks
