I have an ipad jailbroken on 4.3.3 are the any benifits in updating to 5.01.

yes,i upgraded my ipad to ios 5.01 used the redsnow untethered jailbreak ,works perfectly i like it more than ios 4.3 ,it has more things and can send text messages off it..try it mate

Hi are you referring to I pad 1 or 2 as I have I pad 2 but was under the impression that there wasnt a jailbreak for 5.01 yet?

mines an ipad 1, there is a jailbreak for ios 5.01, but not yet afaik for ipad 2 or the iphone 4s

no not yet I have tons of crack apps and i dont whant to loose them and have to download them again, i dont want to go through the hassle if theres not much different between 4.3.3 and 5.01.

arr fair enough,do you get them from installous,takes a while like that.i download them on pc and install using ifunbox its well quick.them stupid captcha things p me right off on installous too.
its not a lot different..safari is slightly different,and theres a message app so u can send messages to other idevices and theres a thing called newstand for downloading magazines.
apart from that its the same really

Thanks bonghitt i got ifunbox it allows you to pull out the installed app back to an ipa file, I was searching all day for a way to do this, I always delete the file from installious after downloading and installing it to save space, I will be able to pull out all installed apps now thanks.
