hi can anyone help me , i was wondering if anyone out there can unlock my i phone 3gs 32gb it is on the orange network and i would like it unlocking for any network. hope someone can help me, im in the sunderland area tyne and wear.....

you could jailbreak it with redsnow ,install ipad baseband and install ultrasnow from cydia that will unlock it to take any sim,but be careful as it can cause the gps to stop working properly in some cases

^ That may or may not work depending on your relationship with itunes. itunes hates me and I hate it so I was getting an error 2005 a lot of the time.
In the end I gave in and called Vodafone(Phone locked to that carrier) and they sorted me out

there are numerous gps fixes available on cydia, but if hes running a stock ipsw for ios 5 then he probably cant unlock his baseband and would need a hardware unlock via rebel sim etc.

i have a 3gs unlocked with ipad baseband and ultrasnow,i recently updated it to ios 5.01 without updating baseband as its ipad 06.15.00 ,it wouldnt get a signal so i jailbroke and installed ultrasnow.it worked fine including gps for about half hour then just went off and wouldnt get a signal,so i re did it and it keeps doing the same..any clues on that stevieboy ?
