u need a splitter for cable signal and u will also need a connection from ur router as well.

You may be able to daisy-chain the cable TV feed, ie. into the first, then out the first to the second box. You will either need a direct Ethernet feed from the Router or you could use a Network switch to effectively split the Ethernet connection.
