Default formatting to FAT32

hi, just bought an external hard drive. i need to get this to FAT32 although i'm not getting the option to do this through windows. its only offering me ntfs. i then downloaded software that allowed me to format my drive to FAT32. the trouble is that now my drive has only got just under 200gb free space and its a 500gb drive.

any advice on my problem would be great thanks

Try this, it works a treat (many XBOX 360 JTAG/RGH users use it to format their external drives).

There's freeware out that should do a convert to fat32 for you. I believe Easeus do a free version that handles your needs.
