speaking as a trained first aider its about time something like this was done.

The advice has changed since I was trained 35 Years ago. Back then it was 5 compressions at 1 second intervals, then 1 breath, then 5 more compressions - I guess back then you would need "Staying Alive" at 33 1/3 and not 45

Apparently the compressions used to be to the rhythm of 'Nellie the Elephant'

It was Nellie when I was trained.

The best way is chest compressions with 3/5 breaths in between, but this is for people without training, and it dose work.
