Default Advice for old starview user

hi, i've been using starview boxes in the past before vm changes the encryption.

what is generally recommended these days as a box solution? eurobox, kryptview or anything else?

will those work with card sharing? where to buy from? do they need to patched with special firmware?

Many thanks for the info.

I've been looking at the Kryptview A780. It's more expensive than the Starview so I guess it's better. Is it HD compatible? Does it have the LAN connection built in ?

Presumably I have to install the toolbar and get the firmware from there? I've installed the toolbar but can't seem to be able to get the firmware

Just seen the sticky post.

So I guess once I receive the box, I flash it with the bin file from the sticky thread and then connect it to my router and get it to scan for channels?

also what people have failed to tell you is the service is very hit and miss.
one day you have channels... other days you have no channels.... if you can put up with that then your be happy

Had both and stuck with starview , you can pick them up plug and play for £95 if you have a good luck.

Thanks, which Starview model are you talking about? Do they not need a firmware flash?
