Default New Member - Hello!!

Hi everyone! Stumbled accross this site quite abit when searching on how to cut talkback and ive got to admit its got me seriously interested!

Im an electrician by trade so im hoping ill pick up the electronics side quite quickly, however i do have a few questions!!

Where do i purchase an unlooper from? Or anyone got any plans to make one?

Is it possible to do any technical wizardry with the V Hd box? As i have a spare knocking about!

Thanks in advance!

It isn't worth buying one now, the cable scene is officially dead.

When Nagravision 3 took effect, all "modified" boxes were effectively disabled preventing them from receiving anything other than basic FTA.

Oh, and welcome to the forum .

awwwww maaan! ive spent sodding hours reading up on this crap and ive not found out that lol! Ahh well cheers for letting me know! I take it that applies to kryptview too?

I only started reading up on it because a family member wanted to use a 2110 box as a freeview!

So is there nothign interesting or geeky that can be done with these old boxes then? I work in blackburn by the way blakey, not far off you!

A sky dish, a special box, an internet connection and a "subscription" is all you need.

You will find more information in the satellite section .
