Default flashing 1 and 3 after RROD fix

Hi I recently followed this tutorial ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGPpI...eature=related )on how to fix RROD

EDIT:The video basically has me replace x clamps with nuts and bolts and washers. You also drill holes in the frame of the xbox to allow tightening and loosening after its assembled.

Everything goes well but at the end I get flashing 1 and 3 red lights after about 5 seconds of running, and shortly thereafter, my console stops running but continues to flash the two lights.

I've tried adjusting the screws (im still trying different tightness')

I've also read that i should try to overheat it intentionally for about 15 minutes but the problem is, its not heating up because my system isn't running.

Anyone have any tips/ideas?

If the system is shutting off whilst it shows two red lights, I would say there is a good chance it is already over heating.

Two red lights means that console is overheating, it shuts itself down automatically after a period of time.

Has anything been soldered to the board at all (for the JTAG or Reset Glitch Hack maybe)?

How far have you tightened them?

They should be tight enough to hold the heatsinks on the board but not too much to force the board to bend slightly.

you have to intentionally overheat it for 15 mins..if youre missing that part out then it dont take a genius to realise why it isnt working.
its easy to overheat it,plug the power lead in and move the fan out the way
Overheat the GPU
i have fixed quite a few with the washers and screws trick but you have to overheat it .
i have a good guidebook in pdf if you want i could mail you it.

no i understand this. what I'm saying is that I CANT overheat it intentionally because the system just shuts off within 5 seconds. no heat. no fan. nothing. the only thing 'on' are the 2 flashing lights.
