I have a motorised system put up by an installer: 88 cm Triax, STAB HH120. Hadn't really used to much with my old Comag box from Lidl, but now acquired a new Technisat HDFS. I've managed to pull in quite a lot, but wondering if the dish is out of alignment after several very windy episodes in recent times. Found the motor didn't always respond correctly (e.g. I had to use my Digisat Pro to drive it to where I though 30 W might be, and the box wouldn't send it back!) But now done a factory reset of box and got it to do an automatic scan and it brought in 28.2/5, 19.2, 13.0 and 9.0. Most channels are fine: slight pixellation on a couple. Managed to force it to detect some channels on 23.5. But I cannot get it to pick up Thor at all, nor Hispasat (I seem to have enough sweep to cover the latter, though it's not so important). So my main question is: am I expecting too much here to receive Thor? What is the chance of the motor being damaged (it's 5-6 years old)? The dish was second-hand and has a slight dent in the rim, which the installer said might be a problem, but he didn't suggest replacing it. If I do I was thinking of the Penta 85. Worth a punt (along with the new Inverto Ultra that I've ordered)?
