Default firmware help

hi my starviw box say veiw 2.21 ukc is this the latest firmware
also people say the box has a expire date where can i found this

1 more thing in network its says my ip address does this mean
iv connected it to the internet

thanks for all your help im totally new to this
hope someone can help me

yes mate box is working it gives me channels 1 to 5
i know i have to pay a sub just needed to know i got my
box set up right before i pay. The bar across the bottom
is blue which tell u what u are watching

You need to enter 1819 with the remote when on a channel to activate the patch. System information will tell you the box number and expiry date

done that mate blue box has appeard and keeps
on doing so every min how do i stop this from doing that


also iv notice it says box not connected in bottom right
hand corner on menu bar iv got my ethernet cable connected to my box
but i have notice i do not have the little cable bit is this why it wont
connect

Have you checked the expiry date on the system information page? If you are not subscribed, then that box with the box number will keep appearing and you will not connect to the server.

hi iv sorted out my sub and waiting for my
channels to come on but im worried as iv
notice im missing a small cable iv got my
ethernet cable pluged in but do i need this small cable
and what is this for

No mate only need one of them if transfering firmware from box to box
