Default Warfedale DVD recorder set up

Hi
feel a bit daft for asking this, but can anyone tell me how to conect a warfedale 24hd DVD recoder up to my virgin + box & my TV Ie where do I connect the scart lead in what order ? . I have had a go but when I scan for channels on the recorder setup it just comes up with no channels found. I do not have a manual as I was given the recorder by my daughter & although I have scoured the internet I cannot find a manual anywhere ? unless you know where i can download one !

Thanks
Mick

Have you plugged a TV aerial into it?

You wont be able to tune any TV channels in then, you'll only be able to record from an external source, like the Virgin box, but only recording what you're watching. There must be a menu option, or button to choose what input source your recorder will record from.
