lost channels

Hi everyone
i have used my eurovox max for about a year now, untill now virtually no problems apart from the occasional powerscan, and editing channel names. but wednesday morning went to turn a music cannel on "the hits " "ftn" and they
had disappeared so i went and had a look at my subbed box upstairs and the music channels too had disapeared so on contacting virgin thinking it was area problem they said it was an unsuscribed channel and i had to upgrade to a higher package i had to stop myself from chuckling at this answer she gave me she was as helpfull as jade is to race relations so on giving up on virgin i thought i would clear all my channel data and rescan my box, On doing so i got all my channels back apart from the ones i lost in 1st place anybody got any ideas .. thanks in advance..
