does anyone know how to do a s/w update. i have tried using the remote but all i get is a message saying searching for sw update and nothing else happens. have left it like that for an hour and still nothing

at least yours says its searching,mine says it will reboot and then it turns off,i get blue screen,it reboots and i am back to the tv,it dosnt even look for the update.

yet i rang my mams partner and he updated his while he was on the phone with me and hes got the update and watching tv??????

If it doesn't seem to be doing anything check your Ethernet connection. Also check your router.
