I bought a tmobile pulse off my friend and updated it from 1.5 to 2.1. I wanted to unlock it so bought a unlock code from someone on ebay. The problem i am having is that i have entered the unlock code twice and it keeps saying unlock unsuccessful. I have no idea why it is not unlocking. I have a funny feeling that the unlock code i bought from ebay was for android 1.5 and not 2.1 could this be true shall i downgrade to 1.5 and try the unlock code then? But then i have doubts that an imei number is going to stay the same even if i upgrade it or downgrade it.
Anyone help please
