Forgotten phone lock password on tocco lite phone

Hi, hope someone can help, my sons as forgotten is phone lock password so cant get into phone, is there a master reset for these phones, it is a model Gt-S5230.....

He actually said he as never put a lock on phone, but the battery went completly flat so charged it up, now it is asking for a phone lock password....

Any help would be appreciated..

fromw what am aware of is that you would need to reflash it. But in doing that would mean that he will lose his data.

Any link how to do this mate, just another question, he only got phone at xmas, if I took it back to carphone warehouse would they sort it out??

Yes take it back and they will sort it.

reset code for samsung dial * 2767 * 3855 #worked on a couple of samsungs i've had but you lose all data on phone do this with sim out or if the kid really didnt set a password try the default 0000 far as i remember but you get 3 trys so one wont hurt

Tried that mate, no joy, can only enter up to 8 digits...

Best way is to download Orientation apps from Market and install as widget, once it installed it works ! enjoy.

nah m8 with these codes you can only see 8 digits you have to enter it all anyway with the longer secret codes this is a pain but most of them work you just need a good memory to remember where you are
