Hi getting married in a few weeks (as in never done this before) iv gotta make a speech. I thought this was the best mans job but seems not. What am i gonna say what did all you grooms say. Makes me sick just thinking about standing up infornt of over 100 people

You don't have to go mad...that is the best mans speach. It's really about thanking people for all their hard work on the day and for their efforts in helping you with the arrangements before the day. You tend to use this as an oppertunity to give a few presents to people like the the page boys/bridesmaides. I also gave some flowers to the mums of bride & groom which is a nice touch. Don't worry too much about the day...it's the years that follow that I would be worried about!

Yeah, just as the guys have said. You're suppossed to thank the bridal party. Say how wonderfull your new wife looks. And hand out gifts to people. I read out who the gifts were for and the missus handed them out.
Keep it short, maybe a joke or 2 and don't forget to say that anything the best man is about to say is purely fictional!!!
