Default Sky HD+ RF Output

Before the DSO I had the aerial feed into my Sky+HD RF IN and 2 RF OUTs going to different rooms (one with the remote control feedback).

The net result was that each of the two "remote" TVs had channels 1-5 as the basic terrestrial package and channel 6 contained the Sky feed.

Since DSO, the basic terrestrial feeds disappeared - not unsurprisingly. Now, however, the TVs (although I have only tried one - get that working first!) will not pick up the new terrestrial channels.

There is a slight change to the set up in that now I have plugged the aerial in to the IN port on an Antiference A1400 Signal Booster and from there I have used two of the outputs, the first connected to my main TV and the second to the input RF of the Sky+HD box. The two RF OUTs from the Sky box remain the same.

On attempting to tune the "remote" TV it finds the Sky feed (perfectly) and finds only a very bad reception of BBC1 - it doesn't find any other channels from the aerial feed.

I haven't done anything else apart from try this and get the result above. I just wanted to ask if I was along the right track first? Is what I am doing a sensible move and will it notionally work?

After that -- any tips on what next steps would be very much appreciated.

The first TV I am trying to tune in is a Toshiba 42WLT66. I did check the manual for this and I've checked the uk free tv retune link for that model.

Clearly, the cable is fine otherwise the sky signal wouldn't be good. It seems as though somehow the RF isn't properly piggy backing on the Sky.

Thoughts?

Have you got your TV`s scanning both Analogue TV and Digital TV services in the `install` menu?

That would be the reason then! I hadn't seen there was that pre step! Many Thanks.
