DM500 Issue

hi All,

been a while since i posted.

I've a couple of DM500 boxes which have recently started starting up.. green light on the front, but the screen just says NO SIGNAL. if I swap the box out for another that box works ok so its not a cabling issue.

is the box dead? is this a known issue with the boxes?

also I have another box which is doing similar but it doesnt always say NO SIGNAL, it just does it now and again.

I am considering trying a PC setup instead for viewing TV, Can anyone advise of a suitable internal or external device for the PC which would give me the same viewing options as my current DM500.

I would try doing factory reset and putting the image back on....

The no signal can be one of few things,

faulty cabling
internet dropping out
faulty tuner
image problem
faulty box...

PC set up will work fine and give you the same options, why wouldnt it!
Get a pc/htpc, chuck in a dvb-s card and a why you go...
