Is it possible to recover deleted photos from your iPhone?

A friend of mine has accidently deleted some photos from their iPhone, is it possible to recover them? A quick search on google and YouTube reveals it maybe possible using photo recovery software but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone managed to do this?

im only guessing this....

photos are always synced when you sync to pc, so should be on there.
If there is a back up, i brought iPhone Backup Extractor, works for photos and contacts, but has to have a backup to read.

maybe if jailbreaken, there is someone a bin on the phone?

As far as I know if your friend has turn iCloud on then they should be stored in there & if im not mistaken their itunes as well

are u sure andy? as on the software i have, i can pick a restore part as long as on the same pc and can pull back photos

it happened once with me, but i tried everything but nothing really worked.. yes Jail breaking your device can do something.. don't know,, cuz i din't try that.. but now jail breaking has become illegal
