VM's 'superfast' engineers appear to be taking a nap. Area's that were supposed to be completed last month appear still not to be done !

No still waiting, noticed service was down a few times this week, not noticed any problems before for quite a while.

I was on 50mb, I was looking forward to the "free" double speed upgrade, due sometime between now & july.. That was until I realised that their new "Collections" packages are much cheaper that what I was on.. I noticed that their new collections (bundles as they were once called) with 100mb already were even less than what I was paying.. I also noticed that all broadband tiers now have trafic management. I used to like the fact that 50mb used to be unmanaged.. So I made a phone call to moan, Im now paying £14p/m less than I used to be, Im now up in speed to 60mb broadband, and have Tivo instead of my V+HD box...

The so called "Free" broadband upgrade aint actually free people..

Hi you not the only one to notice this if you don't except the upgrade so say stop on 30MB not to up grade to Free 60MB. Not free you are paying for this your bill drops about £5.00 to £7.00 a month. My brother just had same packages as me but does not download much so stayed on 30mb no shift to 60Mb. The reason i know this i phoned up to complain how he is on the same package and it's cheaper than mine they then explained why so its not a free uprade.

Mr Bolt Branson says I'm being upgraded in march April.
Hmmm only another day to go ????
I don't think so.

But the thing is, if you're waiting for this upgrade to happen then you're currently paying more than what their new price structures now actually are.. My point being, 100Mb is available now, and its priced around about what the old 50MB was anyway, so those on 50MB waiting to be upgraded are currently paying too much for it.. Its nonsense about Engineers working hard to get people upgraded... If you're on 50mb already then you can upgrade to 100MB whenever you like, but because they're calling it a free upgrade they've got people believing its ok to wait for it to be done, all the time paying over the odds for what you have... Its quite simply a con..

The new 60MB broadband tier is a lot cheaper than what people currently on the old 50MB are paying.. So if you've been waiting a couple of months so far, and still have a month or two to wait, thats easy money for VM..
