on a sammy 2100 you dont need to cut the track you just flick 2 resistors off with a flat screw driver

thanks just done that need to get the jtag card reader ect can i use the old ntl card? and what is a jtag any pointers on card reader will any do or does it have to be the the right one? lots of questions i no but its all a learnig curve for me cheers

i use an infinity unlimited card reader as it does all cards
you'd be better off using a fun card their alot simpler for a newb
heres a pic of a jtag it'll cost you about a tenner

no you dont replace anything you solder the jtag to the points connect it to your pc,use a program called OCD commander or SDT,type in some bytes and you should get the number you need bk+ird

no you connect it to the serial port most newish PCs dont have these and usb converters dont tend to work

I do have some sort of serial port as its a laptop and you can plug a moniter into it but it looks small anyway i will leave u be for the night thanks for all the info will have to buy the bits and give it a go.

hi can somebody please help me as I am new to this and need some help with understanding on what i need to do. I need to learn how to chip samsung ntl boxes with the card flash program. I will pay if somebody is willing to guide me though on what I need to do. please contact me if anybody can help me via e-mail.
