will the pin back on boxes file work on a pace 4000\t
as i dont want to fit a talkback switch

It's a bit hit & miss m8, but from personal experience and what I have read talkback is nothing to do with it. I Have had the same model box without TB work and some with TB not work. Some of the solutions work some of the time. There's really only one way to find out if your particular box will work, try it and see.

ive found talkback is nothing to do with it the box is either going to give it or it isnt, the file on gmail reflashes the nvram to give the pin box on your stb. also like ive said in the other thread if that nonet.mac file dont work on your stb let me know and ill upload the 4000.mac that will definatly work if that one dont.

thanks for the file m8 did the flash for box but it changed my net id box would not boot up had to reset my net id with net id fun card but still can not get movies to work any ideas pulling my ******* hair out

dont them boxes auto set net id?, pull the red jumper do the mac onto your box you get loads of bytes in the ocd window going up when its going, you get them yeh? then wen its done you go straight into engineers menu dont have the cable feed attached, then set frequency for your area then do ure pin pull power, put cable feed in then power up, and should be all good mate

I have pulkled the Jumper of the p ace 4000 to reset now i am trying to set the net id back ho can i do that. i have tried ocd commander and bytes from SDT software but nothing happend. How can i change the net id if the Fun card net id change isnt working.

just set ure frequency for your area m8, then leave it see if it auto does it and updates, my sammy2100 auto does it like that
