hi there,
I've just moved into a house and I'm trying to get my sky+ HD box from my old house to work connected up to the existing dish on my new house. It doesn't work however and is reporting no signal. The dish on the house only has one feed (the previous owners obviously didn't have sky+) and I've had to cut the cable and re-fit the F connector to get the cable into another room. My plan was to use the old sky+ box to watch the free channels. Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting I can do for this? I'm guessing there must be a problem with the dish/NLB but would love to hear any ideas? Is it ok to connect a sky+ HD box to an old dish like this? Cheers, A |
