Samsung TV assistance needed

Morning All :-)

I purchased a 46" Samsung LCD TV, it has however developed the following fault and I wondered if this was something anyone could help me with? details are below.

IT HAS AN INTERMITTENT FAULT OF A DARK PATCH ON LEFT HAND SIDE OF SCREEN AND A HORIZONTAL LINE ACROSS TV, THIS IS A COMMON FAULT WITH THIS SAMSUNG TV. SOME DAYS IT WORKS FINE BUT MOST DAYS IT DOESN'T.

Have you moved the tv without keeping it upright? sounds like liquid inside has moved.. or could be capacitors on board..

Hello

I bought the TV from a mate, he tells me that it was kept on a stand.

Do you have any idea how to resolve this? I dont mind paying to fix it, but just wanted a rough idea of what im looking at having to spend

No pal, never repaired one, might be best to take a note of model number and contact tv repair shop.
