Can only be good news for end users, hopefully it will mean better and more frequent access to hotspots within a few months of launch if they're implemented.

As I understand it, it is the standard that isn't approved yet and wont be for a while. You can already run a "draft" n around your house if you want to. Linksys and a number of other vendors already make n wireless routers. The spec's sound good, they promise 300Mb/s on wireless (not sure what actual would be). Although you are obviously always limited to your broadband speeds when you exit the house. The range is also better than the a/b/g wireless routers - allegedly.
