TV Sender

Would I be able to use a TV signal sender from my DVD Recorder and watch TV in another room, whilst using my TV as normal and watching a different channel.

You could watch the DVD player or the same channel thats on the tv but you would need another source to watch a different channel, unless the DVD recorder has its own freeview or such built in.
The picture from those wireless senders arn't that great either, similar to what you get from a VHS player quality.
