Last season, prior to the FAPL action, it was quite easy to see most of the games, including the Saturday 3PM games, but now broadcasters seem limited to showing 1 Saturday 3PM game, not the same one, but most providers show the most popular game.

Before buying, and installing, a dish, you need to work out where you can site the dish, in order to view as much of the satllite arc as possible, at least 42E to 30W.

Go to dishpointer.com, type in your postcode and zoom in on the map to your house. Dishpointer will also give you your latitude, and longitude, reading.
The longitude reading will also be your true south reading, which is required to set up some motors.
Negative longitude readings = West, positive = East.
Most people, in the UK, use Thor, 1W, as their satellite, if this is your nearest true spouth satellite select it, from the drop down satellite box, on dishpointer.com, then work out where you will need to site your dish to give you a clear line of site to the maximum number of satellites possible.

If you're lucky you can get away with a rear garden mounted system which is easier to set up and maintain.

In most of the UK we are allowed upto a 1 Metre satellite dish, before needing to apply for planning permission, but if you need to site the dish at the front of the house then you might want something more reasonable like the Fracarro Penta 85cm dih.

But the EPL games are not free to air, so don't expect to get them just by buying a sat receiver & dish kit. A Spiderbox or Protek (the latter is better) will allow you to see some of the encrypted sports channels for free with a piece of free s/w. Might be worth a call to us so we can try and explain. Alternatively get a Sky Italia Calcio card and HD box for £300 and static dish for £60 at least this way you have a guarantee 12 months viewing. Lastly don't expect English commentary on foreign broadcasts as this was also halted by FAPL action.

Not really down to having the best motorised dish setup. You could have the mutts nuts of a motorised dish and still not get what you want.

It's obviously imoortant to get fairly decent kit and to have it installed well, but after that, it's what is connected to it that is important.

it would help if we know where you are
its all right people saying well asking a question
we assume hes in the UK
never assume any thing
the amount of people who phone to have aerials fitted
you ask them have you got a chimney most of them say i assume we have
then when you ask them just to nip outside and have a look
and them come back with NO WE AIN'T and we didn't know that
so never assume any thing

Ive Evan had people phone up we've just had a new tell delved can you come round and tune it in for us so you go round to set it up and ask where is your aerial point don't know they reply thats why we sent for you and guess what they ain't got one

Since he has mentioned using both Sky, and Virgin, I think it's reasonable to assume that he is in the UK.
