New Eurovox user,HELP!!!!!! - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

I just purchased a eurovox but can't find any channels on it.I have recently moved into a new apartment and it has a cable point already built into the wall so the flat is ready for cable,but I can't recieve any channels,could it be that the signal is not yet activated?And is there any way I could get it activated without subscribing to a supplier?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanx

Where are you? There are different symbol rates that you should scan on. Try switching between 6.992 & 6.887 ...

It's unlikely that a cable point would be active in a new property ... they aren't that daft are they????

It's not a brand new property you see,its about 2-3 years old,the previous occupants could have had the cable point activated.I'm in wolverhampton.

put you cable straight into your tv using the f-adapter that came with the eurovox, if your feeds live you should be able to tune in 1-5
