Dm 500 ....... PLEASE HELP

hey, i would be grateful for any help. had my dm 500 for about 2 weeks, so then someone told me you could control it and change setting through my web browser by entering the ip into browser bar. i was just checking it out, not sure if i have change something i shouldnt have, and then later on i noticed my remote stopped working, not sure if any of what ive just said has anything to do with the remote not working now but i dont have anything else to go on, i havent dropped the remote, ive tried new batteries in, that didnt help, ive tried a remote from another dm 500 still nothing...... please help ...... no good havent to use my pc as a remote

I have forgotten the menu in the 500s.But on the tm's I think it is possible to turn the remote off.If you have access from your computer it my be worthwhile looking in the dm's setting's menu.Maybe some settings for the remote have changed.

yeah ave looked i cant see anything at all to do with turning remote on or off, i have done a search on google and this issue came up on another forum, were remotes just stopped working. i havent re flashed image yet , i will be the mora but i cant see that being the problem as it was working fine for 2 or 3 weeks.

Anytime I have came across this problem it is usually as simple as the ir receiver has came unstuck and dropped down out of sight, taking the front panel off and see if thats the case. Bear in mind it will breach you warranty, other than that go into your web browser and factory reset only if you are confident of setting it all up again tho.
