Hi all after building a new pc few months back, i decided to get myself a 3d monitor, unfortunately it came with no glasses!
so i rang the shop and they suggested passive glasses so i went got them, got home and they didnt work i have read up and im pretty sure its active shutter glasses i need!! only thing is these come in a tv version with built in bluetooth that connect to your tv, or ones with a hub for pc use. which seems more expensive than the rest maybe this is why the monitor i bought was cheap i dont really want to be spending £100 on a n videa 3d kit, or taking this one back to shop and buying another monitor that comes with glasses with lower refresh rate, as this one is 120 herts. this is what i bought HANNS-G - HS233H3B - HANNS-G 23 LCD 3D MONITOR HDMI/DVI Also can anyone explain about movies, can i download any 3d movie that was meant to play on a tv, on my monitor? how will i know if a movie is 3d passive or shutter, or is that just down to what your watching it on? thanks for any help regards Last edited by Mickha; 31-07-12 at 01:05 AM. I think you will need an external hub/receiver.
My friend has a 3D monitor, but he went out and bought the nVIDIA 3D kit (which comes with glasses and the receiver). You're right, it isn't cheap, but it may be your only option. |
