Im Useless

Hello all
Im trying to set up my silvercrest 65/12 which i brought 2nd hand 2 years ago, When i turn the receiver on and click the info button, it comes up and tells me i have a Signal intensity of 30/33 and signal quality of 8/10% and this is with the lnb cable diconnected, the box when i got it came with preprogrammed satellites on but i cant seem to get any picture no matter where i point it. Do i need to delete all satellites and re install (if so how) i have tried following the manual and im getting nowhere its coming to the stage it may take a tumble in the bin. Any pointers hints tips would be very gratefully recieved as 1 is getting very stressed
Im near a town called Gueret in France and am trying to pick astra 19.2 E

I doubt there's anything wrong with the box, its normal to show them signal levels without dish connected.. I guess you just got to get your dish pointed right...

Not sure if your new to sat etc, but when it comes to pointing the dish, a sat meter is handy, £7 or £8 on ebay and move the dish very slowly in the direction of 19.2 e, tweek up down and sideways. 19.2 is a very strong signal here in uk, and france also. Keep us informed, and theres plenty of help here on techwatch.
