Default Starview 6/7 problems

With the current issues with Starview's I would recommend that everyone immediately puts the old firmware back on the boxes (ShowMustGoOn or earlier). This will not open any encrypted channels but will prevent the box from being destroyed. You can then wait for any new firmware to be released.

The UK based Starview people say this is a bug in the firmware, some people, especially the Starview haters and trolls say it's a deliberate scam to sell more boxes, others have said it's a timebomb inserted by the International distributes in Dubai without the knowledge of the UK based MyStarview team.

Whatever the reason - and we don't want any potential libelous speculation on the forum - I would suggest you all protect your boxes
