Theres not that much to know about 'em... There's no need for files as they should work just fine straight out of the box, and as they're very basic you'll find it easy enough to get working...
What you can do is use somebody elses channel list that has been sorted into logical order, this saves you having to scan then sort your own channels.. Have a Google for "Latest Openbox Channel List" .. Theres plenty of forums, even dedicated Openbox forums, where the support & natter for Openbox receivers is a lot more lively than it is here...
