Hi,
my old man mentioned this Eurovox box so I've had a look for info about it and can't find much. I currently subscribe to Sky and would be looking to purchase the Eurovox or something similar but my understanding from reading a previous thread is that the Eurovox doesn't work with Sky, only Cable. Is this the case, and if so is there anything similar that can be used for Sky subscribers?

At present i have sky plus cable with a ntl box, my uncle has the eurovax which worked fine with my cable howevever we tried doing something with the sky and it didnt work. If you do find out if it works pls do let me know too.

Me too please mate, would love to find a way to have similar sirvices at my caravan on the east coast.
I have heard that s*y have never been cracked but don't believe this for one minute. I do know that they target sources of information and get their web sites blocked so people just don't talk about how it's done.
Would love to know if fr**view boxes can be modified as a compromise.

I have come across this :-

it says it is a satellite receiver and i'm wondering if anyone has any experience of this product and does it work with Sky.

no experience of it but it has freeview andsat recievers built in but no cams so no s*y or any other encrypted channels unless it can be flashed .
also talking of any s*y hacks is dodgy ground so becarefull

Too right stevo never ever post the full s** word on these sort of forums and the sad gits monitor with search engines and then use their weight to pull sites. Been done loads in the past and I would hate them to kill this site since it seems so good. Thank god n*l and V**gin are not so ruthless!

Eurovox is a cable and therefore only works with cable. Cable howere has a number S** channels so you could watch these whilst connected through Cable. There is no hack for S** but there are a number of recievers which can decode satellite channels so in theory you can much of the content that is broadcast by S** without actually ever accessing any of the S** channels on satellite.
